About Us

Our mission as event organisers, specialising in charity events, is to create fundraising opportunities for charity, non profit and voluntary organisations by holding social events, in partnership, which are great fun to attend and also provide effective charity sponsorship and corporate hospitality channels.

The founder of KarmaLive has over 20 years experience in event management & organising social events in the UK and also in Hong Kong for charity, not for profit and other voluntary organisations. Over £100,000 has been raised for various non profit organisations including:

• Hong Kong Children's Cancer Foundation
• Blind Missionary Society
• CRY (Child Relief & You)
• Future Hope (for street orphans)
• Asha (Hope) for Education
• Hope and Homes for Children

To keep our overheads to a minimum and provide maximum benefit to the causes that we support, KarmaLive is run by a small team, many of whom work on a part-time or ad-hoc contract basis. The KarmaLive team has organised dozens of social events and charity events including numerous Black Tie Balls for up to 500 people. Other events include fancy dress parties, exclusive dinner evenings and dinner dances, mix & mingle parties, weekends away and cultural events.

We operate at quality venues including 4 and 5 star hotels as well as some of the top bars and restaurants around.

Our catering partner specialises in gourmet Asian catering including Indian cuisine, Thai and Chinese but we can also accommodate European or other types of cuisine through in-house catering from our top-notch venues or other specialist outside caterers.

Our aim is to build a sustainable brand that is trusted not only by the non profit organisations that we support but also by the customers that attend our events so they can be confident of having great nights out whilst also supporting worthy causes. By the same token, we aim to build partnerships with commercial organisations by offering them corporate hospitality and sponsorship opportunities which offer real value to their business, hence combining philanthropy with commercial benefit.

While we utilise our event organisation and event management skills to help individuals and commercial organisations get the best out of their social events our motto and purpose is to support non profit organisations while Making Giving Fun!
