Q: How many people are
you expecting and how many tickets have you sold for the
International Ball?
A: We are expecting over 200 people and we have already
sold over 75% of the available tickets.
Q: What kind of people will be attending?
A: Young professionals that like to party and celebrate in
style! There will be people from many different backgrounds mainly
in their twenties, thirties and forties.
Q: What’s the format for the evening?
A: The evening kicks off at 7.30 pm with an hour long
drinks reception, during which you can mix and mingle, while we
serve a range of delicious starters and canapés. After this you
will be seated according to the pre-arranged table plan for your
main course and dessert. After dinner you still have a few more
hours to mix, mingle and dance the night away!
Q: How strict is the dress code?
A: It is a black tie event but if you don’t have a formal
dinner suit, a smart suit and tie is acceptable.
Q: Will it be formal and stuffy?
A: Absolutely not! It is an opportunity to really let your
hair down and have some fun!
Q: What kind of music will there be?
A: We have a live jazz band for the drinks reception and
during dinner. After dinner the DJ takes over, playing your
favourite dance tracks from all over the world while you dance the
night away.
Q: Will there be traditional ballroom
dancing?
A: Not unless you request it! The jazz band and DJ will
consider requests, at their discretion, that they believe the
audience will respond to.
Q: Is it for couples only?
A: Not at all! Most people have booked in groups of
friends, including couples and singles.
Q: Can I attend on my own?
A: Some people have booked on their own and we will
introduce these people and put them together so that they can
quickly make friends.
Q: Can I get my ticket at the door?
A: Tickets are in advance ONLY and there will be NO ticket
sales at the door.
Q: When is the latest that I can book?
A: We will continue to sell tickets as long as these are
available, subject to time and other organisational constraints.
However we expect to sell out in advance therefore you should book
your tickets now if you are interested in attending.
Q: What is the difference between VIP and
Standard tickets?
A: Standard tickets are £75, VIP tickets are £90. VIP
ticket holders benefit from unlimited reception drinks and wine over
dinner, a professional framed photo worth £8.50, the best seats in
the house and priority check-in. This adds up to much more than the
£15 difference in price.
Q: Why are tickets so expensive?
A: The Café Royal is a sumptuous 5 star venue. Similar
events from other organisations, at comparable venues range in price
from £75 to £250, therefore we are right at the bottom of that
price range. A meal with drinks at a classy restaurant followed by a
night of clubbing until 2 am can easily cost the best part of £100,
therefore we are offering excellent value at the price!
Q: Can I get a discount?
A: If you are booking a full table of ten, call us and we will work out a deal for you. The sooner you do this the more likely it is that we can offer you something worthwhile.
Q: How can I book tickets?
A: Just call the bookings hotline on 0871 271 4080 or
book online here
